Integrated Energy System Modeling and Low-Carbon Economic Operation
Completed · Project Lead
Overview
A SIETP-funded research project in integrated energy modeling and low-carbon economic operation.
Background
Integrated energy operation connects operating costs, carbon emissions, user comfort and energy efficiency.
Problem
Evaluate the trade-offs among these objectives while accounting for carbon allowances, carbon trading costs and integrated demand response.
Solution
Build a coupled multi-energy dispatch model, then use an improved multi-objective evolutionary algorithm and the Shannon method to select a compromise solution from the Pareto set.
Technology Stack
- MATLAB
- Multi-energy dispatch modeling
- Multi-objective evolutionary optimization
- Shannon method
Implementation
- Built the coupled dispatch model with carbon allowances, carbon trading costs and integrated demand response.
- Implemented optimization, simulation and result analysis to examine operating economics, emissions, comfort and energy efficiency.
Result
The supplied academic CV records the project as completed in 2024–2025. Simulations and result analysis were completed; no numerical performance claim is supplied.
